Divergent Check Up
As you might know I had
to read a fiction book for one of my classes at school. I had finished it,
Divergent, then I started on Insurgent (book #2) right away, so Divergent must
have done something good. I enjoyed the struggles that Tris, the main
character, had to endure. The book taught me about fear, and the true meaning
of bravery.
If I had to say the
thing about the book that I didn't enjoy or like, it would be the emotional drama Tris constantly has. Because Tris was always crying, it made her seem weaker
than she actually was. In truth, Tris was very brave, just brave with tons of
water works. Like a whole bunch of tears. I guess that when I read I prefer to pick
book with strong characters. When there is a brake down to the character, I
enjoy it more when there sporadic. Tris had many break downs around one every
three or so chapters.
Other than my weird preferences, Divergent
proved to be rather intriguing, and made me hope for a good future, with fair
government, including no between a people.
